The by-the-ounce wall was three or four cuts for most of the summer. Over three days in late August it became a proper ladder — eight new 28g cuts across three price tiers, with the entry price holding at $34.50 an ounce.

That's about $1.23 a gram, which is the cheapest way to buy flower we offer.

What the Extra $11.50 Actually Buys

The honest answer: cure and density, not potency.

Moving from the $34.50 tier to the $46 tier is a difference of about 41 cents a gram. What you get for it is flower that was dried more slowly, trimmed more carefully, and holds its structure better in the jar. It smells louder through the bag and it's less harsh on the throat.

What you do not reliably get is a big THC jump. Value ounces and upper ounces often test within a few points of each other. If someone tells you a $46 ounce is twice as strong as a $34.50 one, they're selling, not explaining.

Which Tier to Buy

• Daily smoker, volume matters most → the $34.50 tier. Gazzurple, Violet Fog and Dosido are all greenhouse-grown honest daily flower.
• You want it to taste like the strain → the $46 tier. 28g Cake and 28g Gas OG are the two we'd point at first.
• Making edibles or rolling for a crowd → the cheapest tier, every time. Infusion doesn't care about bag appeal, and nobody tastes cure in a batch of butter.
• You want a specific strain rather than a price → these are the ounce cuts; the by-the-gram wall is where the rotating single strains live.

Two Honest Notes

Stock is uneven. 28g Sour Kush is down to a couple of units as of this writing; 28g Cake and 28g Gas OG are the deepest. Ounce cuts move fast and we don't always get the same one back.

Buy an ounce only if you'll finish it. A 28g jar stored badly drops a full tier in about six weeks. Glass jar, sealed, dark cupboard, room temperature — that's the whole method, and it's in the storage guide. If you're going to take four months over it, buy a half and stay happier.
