Buying cannabis a gram or an eighth at a time is the most expensive way to do it — every trip, every package, every checkout adds cost that has nothing to do with the flower. If you know what you like and you use it regularly, buying by the ounce is the single biggest price lever you have. Here's the honest math, what actually makes sense to buy in bulk, and how to do it without ending up with a jar of hay in three weeks.

The same flower gets cheaper per gram the more of it you buy — everywhere, from every seller. What varies is how steep the discount curve is:

Premium AAA cuts on the flower wall cost several times that, because they're a different tier of flower. Both are real options; the point of bulk buying is you pick the tier deliberately.
Be realistic about tiers. A $35 greenhouse ounce is not going to smoke like a $220 AAA ounce, and any store that pretends otherwise is lying to you from the first click. Value flower is for volume; premium cuts are for taste. Most regular users keep both around.
