Oshawa and Durham Region residents can order native cigarettes and tobacco products online from Healing Room Six Nations. Packs and cartons ship via Canada Post with age verification at the door — competitive pricing from an Indigenous-owned shop on Six Nations territory.
Oshawa is the far side of the Greater Toronto Area from us — about a hundred and fifty kilometres east of the counter in Ohsweken, right across the top of the lake. Driving it is most of a day return, which is why Durham Region is a mail market for us rather than a walk-in one. Orders go by tracked Canada Post Xpresspost and reach Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax and Courtice addresses in about 2–3 business days.
Distance barely touches the price. A carton is $22.50 at the value tier and $29.50 mid whether it is going next door in Ohsweken or across to Durham, and an Ontario convenience store is charging $90–$160 for the same two hundred cigarettes once provincial tobacco tax is applied. Shipping is priced on the weight of the parcel, with $25 off over $300 — which is where most Durham orders land.
An adult 19 or over has to sign for it with government-issued photo ID — Canada Post will not leave tobacco at the door.
A carton at a Oshawa convenience store runs $90–$160 once Ontario tobacco tax is on it. Here is the same carton from our wall:
| Tier | Brands | Carton |
|---|---|---|
| Value cartonabout $2.25 a pack | Canadian, Canadian Menthol, Playfare's, DK's | $22.50 |
| Mid cartonabout $2.95 a pack | BB, Canadian Goose, Pop n Smoke | $29.50 |
| Flavoured cartonabout 20¢ a cigarette | Canadian Crush — Cherry, Grape, Tropical Splash | $35.00 |
| Premium cartonabout $8.75 a pack of 25 | Oakdale, Putters, DK's Premium | $70.00 |
Prices rotate with the shelf — the live cigarette page is always current.
Flavoured smokes ship too: Canadian Crush in Cherry, Grape and Tropical Splash, $35.00 a carton of 200 — the crush-ball flavours Oshawa can't buy at any store in town. Plus Canadian Menthol from $22.50 a carton — still legal to buy on territory after the 2017 retail ban — and nicotine pouches from $11.50 a can.
Same wall, same prices, same 2–3 business days — these are just the nearest towns we post to.

Do you deliver native cigarettes to Oshawa?
Yes — we ship to every Oshawa address by Canada Post Xpresspost, typically 2–3 business days. In-store pickup at our Ohsweken counter is always available.
Is it legal to buy native cigarettes in Oshawa?
Healing Room is an Indigenous-owned retailer operating on Six Nations of the Grand River territory, where the Haudenosaunee tobacco trade has run for generations. We sell to adults 19 and over, and Canada Post verifies government-issued photo ID at the door.
How long does delivery to Oshawa take?
2–3 business days is typical for Oshawa and the wider Durham Region. Orders over $300 get $25 off shipping; there is a paid Xpresspost upgrade at checkout if you need it faster.
Can I buy menthol cigarettes in Oshawa?
Yes. Menthol left mainstream Canadian retail in 2017, but the ban does not reach sales on Six Nations territory. Canadian Menthol is $22.50 a carton, $17.25 in bulk, and ships to Oshawa like anything else on the shelf.
Do you ship to the rest of Durham Region, not just Oshawa?
Yes — Whitby, Ajax, Pickering, Courtice, Bowmanville and the smaller places around them are all ordinary Canada Post addresses to us, on the same 2–3 business days and the same prices. There is no separate Durham rate and no area we will not post to; the only requirement is an adult with photo ID to sign at the far end.
