North Bay is the gateway to northeastern Ontario and a long way from any southern shelf. Order native cigarettes and tobacco online for tracked Canada Post delivery at the same flat rate the south pays.
North Bay sits on Lake Nipissing where the southern highways run out, and it pays northern freight on top of Ontario's tobacco tax — so a carton in town tends to sit at the upper end of Ontario's $90–$160 range rather than the middle of it. Ours start at $17.25 for 200, and shipping is the same flat rate a Toronto address pays.
Canada Post reaches North Bay in about 2–4 business days, and carries on to the communities it serves — Callander, Sturgeon Falls, Mattawa, Powassan, Temiscaming, Temagami. Orders over $250 ship free, which is why northern customers tend to order several cartons at once instead of one at a time. Ontario's legal tobacco age is 19, checked by photo ID at the door.
A carton at a North Bay convenience store runs $90–$160 once Ontario tobacco tax is on it. Here is the same carton from our wall:
| Tier | Brands | Carton |
|---|---|---|
| Value cartonabout $1.73 a pack | Canadian, Canadian Menthol, Playfare's, DK's | $17.25 |
| Mid cartonabout $2.30 a pack | BB, Canadian Goose, Pop n Smoke | $23.00 |
| Flavoured cartonabout 20¢ a cigarette | Canadian Crush — Cherry, Grape, Tropical Splash | $40.25 |
| Premium cartonabout $7.00 a pack | Oakdale, Putters, DK's Premium | $70.00 |
Prices rotate with the shelf — the live cigarette page is always current.
Flavoured smokes ship too: Canadian Crush in Cherry, Grape and Tropical Splash, $40.25 a carton of 200 — the crush-ball flavours North Bay can't buy at any store in town. Plus Canadian Menthol at $17.25 a carton — still legal to buy on territory after the 2017 retail ban — and nicotine pouches from $11.50 a can.
Same wall, same prices, same 2–4 business days — these are just the nearest towns we post to.
How much is a carton of native cigarettes in North Bay?
Cartons start at $17.25 for value brands, $23.00 mid-range, and $70.00 for premium brands like Oakdale and Putters. An Ontario convenience store charges roughly $90–$160 for the same carton once provincial tobacco tax is applied.
Do you deliver native cigarettes to North Bay?
Yes — we ship to every North Bay address by Canada Post Xpresspost, typically 2–4 business days. In-store pickup at our Ohsweken counter is always available.
Is it legal to buy native cigarettes in North Bay?
Healing Room is an Indigenous-owned retailer operating on Six Nations of the Grand River territory, where the Haudenosaunee tobacco trade has run for generations. We sell to adults 19 and over, and Canada Post verifies government-issued photo ID at the door.
How long does delivery to North Bay take?
2–4 business days is typical for North Bay and the wider Northeastern Ontario area. Orders over $250 ship free; there is a paid Xpresspost upgrade at checkout if you need it faster.
Can I buy menthol cigarettes in North Bay?
Yes. Menthol left mainstream Canadian retail in 2017, but the ban does not reach sales on Six Nations territory. Canadian Menthol is $17.25 a carton and ships to North Bay like anything else on the shelf.
Does shipping to North Bay cost more than shipping to Toronto?
No. Canada-wide shipping is a flat rate regardless of distance, and it is free over $250 — so a North Bay order and a Toronto order cost the same to ship. That is the whole reason ordering works better the further north you are: the price gap on the carton is bigger and the shipping does not eat it.
