Yes — but not from any store off-territory. Healing Room Six Nations, an Indigenous-owned smoke shop on Six Nations of the Grand River, stocks Canadian Menthol at $17.25 a carton of 200 ($1.73 a pack) and posts it to Nova Scotia in 3–5 business days. Nova Scotia banned menthol tobacco in 2015 — the first jurisdiction anywhere to do it — and the federal prohibition followed in October 2017, so no Nova Scotia retailer can sell you one, but menthol is still sold legally on First Nations territory — that is the exception that never closed. Photo ID is checked at the door; you must be 19 or older in Nova Scotia.
Menthols are priced per carton of 200 here, which is ten packs — most places quote a pack price, so both are shown. An ordinary (non-menthol) carton at Nova Scotia retail runs $150–$185 once provincial tobacco tax is on it, and menthol is not sold there at all.
| Menthol | Carton of 200 | Per pack |
|---|---|---|
| Canadian Menthol | $17.25 | $1.73 |
| BB Menthol | $23.00 | $2.30 |
| Pop n Smoke Menthol | $23.00 | $2.30 |
Stock rotates — the menthol page and the product links above show live availability.
We post to Halifax, Sydney, Dartmouth and Truro — and to every other address in Nova Scotia at the same flat rate, free over $250. The full tobacco wall for the province is on native cigarettes Nova Scotia.
Not at a gas station, convenience store or tobacconist — the 2017 bans cleared those shelves. On-territory smoke shops are where menthol is still sold legally. Healing Room Six Nations ships Canadian Menthol, BB Menthol and Pop n Smoke Menthol to every Nova Scotia address by Canada Post in 3–5 business days, or you can pick up in person at 7147 Indian Line Rd on Six Nations of the Grand River.
It is legal for you to buy them. The 2017 legislation binds the seller, not the buyer: it prohibits off-territory retailers from selling menthol tobacco, and does not make possession or purchase an offence for the customer. Healing Room Six Nations sells on Six Nations of the Grand River territory, where the sale itself is lawful. You must be 19 or older in Nova Scotia and ID is verified on delivery.
Canadian Menthol is $17.25 for a carton of 200 — $1.73 a pack, or 8.6¢ a cigarette. BB Menthol and Pop n Smoke Menthol are $23.00 a carton. For comparison, an ordinary carton at Nova Scotia retail runs $150–$185 once provincial tobacco tax is on it, and menthol is not sold there at any price.
No — Newport, Kool and the other US menthol brands are not distributed in Canada, and importing them for resale is not permitted. The menthol actually available here is Canadian-made: Canadian Menthol at $17.25 a carton is the closest equivalent on the shelf, with a true cooling menthol draw rather than a crush ball.
No. A status card exempts an eligible buyer from certain taxes; it is not a requirement to shop with us. Anyone 19 or older in Nova Scotia can order, and the price shown is the price everyone pays.
Same shelf and the same prices everywhere — the legal age, the local retail comparison and the posting time are what change.
