White Fox pouches are tobacco-free, spit-free nicotine pouches made by GN Tobacco in Sweden. You place a pouch between your upper lip and gum, and it slowly releases nicotine and flavour — no smoke, no spitting, and nothing to light. Because they contain no tobacco leaf, they're often grouped with "all-white" nicotine pouches rather than traditional snus.
White Fox is especially popular among pouch users who want a stronger nicotine experience, and the brand has built a loyal following in Canada for its consistent quality and punchy flavours.
Five White Fox lines are on the shelf, every one of them $11.50 a can. Three sit at 12mg; the two GN Tobacco editions are the strong end of the range.
| Flavour | Strength | What it tastes like | Start here if… |
|---|---|---|---|
| Double Mint | 12mg | Sharp, layered peppermint-spearmint | You want the classic White Fox experience |
| Peppered Mint | 12mg | Cool mint with a peppery bite underneath | Plain mint reads as too soft to you |
| Raspberry Lemonade | 12mg | Tart berry and citrus, no mint at all | You don't like mint pouches |
| GN Tobacco Black Edition | 15mg | Tobacco-forward, dry and woody (still tobacco-free) | You're coming off cigarettes and want something familiar |
| GN Tobacco Red Edition | 16mg | The same tobacco profile, harder hit | You've built real tolerance and 12mg does nothing |
Also on the pouch shelf and worth a look if you're after fruit rather than mint: Icy Blackcurrant, $11.50.
Flavour and strength availability rotates with stock — our nicotine pouch shelf shows what's actually in right now, because it syncs live with the store.
White Fox sits at the stronger end of the pouch market, and the numbers on the can are milligrams of nicotine per pouch — not per can, and not a percentage. A 12mg White Fox is a genuinely strong pouch.
| Strength | How it lands | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| 6–9mg | Light. A beginner can sit with one comfortably. | Velo Bright Spearmint 9mg, Zyn Spearmint 9mg |
| 10–12mg | Moderate to strong. Noticeable tingle, 20–40 minutes of effect. | All three 12mg White Fox lines, Zyn Cool Mint 11mg |
| 15–16mg | Strong. Experienced users only. | White Fox Black Edition 15mg, Red Edition 16mg |
Two things worth knowing before you jump to the top of that table. First, pouch strength isn't comparable to cigarette strength — the nicotine is absorbed through the gum over half an hour rather than inhaled in minutes, so it arrives more slowly and lasts longer. Second, too strong a pouch on an empty stomach is the single most common reason people give up on pouches entirely: the hiccups, nausea and head-rush people describe are a dose problem, not a brand problem.
If you're new to pouches, start at 9mg from a lighter brand, or split your time with a 12mg White Fox before going near the 15mg and 16mg editions. Our ZYN vs. Velo vs. White Fox comparison lines up all three brands side by side, and the nicotine pouch beginner's guide covers how to use one properly.
White Fox uses a slim, all-white pouch. A few things this means for you:
You don't chew or swallow the pouch — just let it rest in place.

How strong are White Fox pouches? White Fox sits at the stronger end of the market. The options we carry range from 12mg to 16mg per pouch — stronger than most ZYN flavours. The GN Tobacco Red Edition (16mg) is the strongest in the lineup.
Do White Fox pouches contain tobacco? No. White Fox pouches are tobacco-free. They use nicotine in an all-white pouch with no tobacco leaf.
Are White Fox pouches available in Canada? Yes. Healing Room Six Nations carries White Fox and ships across Canada by tracked Canada Post, in addition to in-store pickup.
What flavours does White Fox come in? Our rotating selection includes Double Mint, Peppered Mint, and the high-strength GN Tobacco Red Edition. Check our pouch page for current stock.
How long does a White Fox pouch last? Most users keep a pouch in for 20–40 minutes. You'll feel a tingling sensation as the nicotine releases.
Are White Fox pouches good for beginners? They're on the stronger side. If you're new to nicotine pouches, the 12mg flavours are a reasonable starting point, but a lighter 9mg ZYN or Velo may be more comfortable to start.
